Education In Pakistan

System Of Education In Pakistan and its Problem

Education in Pakistan

Also with Pakistan. If you look at the country from the point of view of European views, then it is completely unsuitable for study because there are complete unsanitary conditions,

and education can stop at any moment due to another explosion or armed conflict.

The West generally believes that only the Taliban live in Pakistan, who do not know how and do not want to live in peace.

From their point of view, Pakistan should have been destroyed long ago, ridding the world of the terrible threat of the Third World War. Even traveling to this country, most of us would call not only unnecessary but also the most extreme activity.

However, neither Europe nor America knows the fact that even in Pakistan people live well and are completely satisfied with their own existence.

Some cannot even imagine how hospitable and cordial the people of Pakistan can sometimes be (of course, when they are shown the same respect as they show you). The country also has a developed cultural life, children, just like all over the world, go to school and study.

And even if this Muslim country implies other traditions, customs, and religions, one can study and live happily in it. We note one fact: Pakistani education in Pakistan is much more democratic than in European. It all depends on the student and his aspirations.

traditional schools

This is perhaps one of several varieties of comprehensive schools in Pakistan. They are intended for those families who sacredly honor traditions and customs, and do not accept new methods of education in Pakistan.

A child can enter a traditional school from the age of 6-7, depending on the preferences of the parents. Naturally, the set is carried out on a completely free basis.

The child studies for 10 years, during which he studies mainly languages and several humanities.

Education in Pakistan is conducted in Urdu – the state language of Pakistan, which every citizen must know. Pupils of traditional schools learn not only local languages and dialects common throughout the country (Punjabi, Pashto, and many others), but also English, Arabic, and Persian.

The latter was recently excluded from the list of studied ones since it has practically fallen out of use in the world. In addition, teachers teach children the basics of mathematics, natural history, and a few more humanitarian subjects. At their core, traditional schools are ordinary institutions, only with an emphasis on the philological level.

In addition to the usual subjects, in traditional schools in Pakistan, children are taught to read the Koran. Two programs are available here: general education in Pakistan (with teaching languages and other subjects) and hafiz (with a minimum subject base, aimed only at memorizing the Koran).

From the very beginning of education in Pakistan, the child has the right to choose the specifics. If he chooses a hafiz system of education in Pakistan, then he is transferred to a special group, with which an authorized hafiz will study until the sixth grade. After that, you must pass the state exam. If a student passes it, he is assigned the status of “hafiz” and automatically accepted for further education in Pakistan.

After graduating from traditional schools, children most often interrupt the learning process. The girls now sit at home and do household chores, while the boys either go to the Islamic University for further study of the Koran or open their own shops with goods.

English Schools

First of all, these are schools for a fairly wealthy part of the population who wants to send their child to study somewhere abroad. Most often, “English institutions” are private, but upon graduation,

students are issued state diplomas, which are considered more prestigious than the usual traditional education in Pakistan.

It is quite natural that education in Pakistan in such schools is conducted predominantly in English. There are special subjects, that is, with an English bias, but there are also ordinary ones, as well as state ones,

for example, such as Islamiat (the study of the religion of Islam, culture, and the Koran).

Since it often becomes very difficult for students to learn a foreign language,

there are preparatory courses at “English schools” that you can take a child from 3-to 4 years old. This is a kind of preparation before entering this institution to facilitate the entire educational process for students.

If the child did not study in the sub-courses, then in order for him to enter the “English school”, he must pass three state exams: English, mathematics, and Urdu.

After graduating from this institution, almost all the doors of public universities in Pakistan are open to students. In addition, they are given the opportunity to study abroad. However, in the latter case,

there may be problems with a visa to the country where your child wants to study. But if the university helps you with this, then it is still possible.

Schools of the Future

In addition to the above categories of schools,

there is another one in Pakistan that has a higher and more specific level of education in Pakistan. These are the so-called “schools of the future”. In essence, these are peculiar hybrids of European education in Pakistan systems with Islamic ones.

In other words, in this institution, you can not only learn many languages and European disciplines but also learn the Koran.

As a result, you get the opportunity to stay in the country after graduation to continue your Muslim education in Pakistan or go abroad to enter European universities.

Let’s note one of the most famous and popular schools of the future in Pakistan – Beacon House. It is one of the best institutions in the whole world since training is simultaneously conducted in both European disciplines and Pakistani cultural traditions.

They teach most often in English according to a special program of Cambridge,

which is why education in this school of the future is considered the best. Students study such European disciplines as mathematics,

physics, and chemistry, but at the same time go to the lessons of hadith studies and learn Urdu.

Thus, this school does not give preference to any particular system of education in Pakistan. She covers them all, creating the most comfortable conditions for her students.

In Pakistan, the Beacon House school originated in 1969 from a children’s English group. It was they who came up with the idea of creating a “school of the future”,

which will prepare students not only in traditional disciplines but also in European and American experiences.

It should be noted that since that time branches have opened in many cities in Europe and America.

Already in the 1980s, branches of the Beacon House school became available to a wide range of students in Hungary, Germany, Canada, and Switzerland.

Such a high level already indicates that this school is indeed one of the best in the world in terms of the level and delivery of education in Pakistan.

Beacon House, like the “English Schools”, begins the educational process for children from the age of 3. It is at this age that you can enroll your child first in preparatory courses, then in the school itself.

Moreover, it should be noted that being one of the best educational institutions in the world,

Beacon House gives the right to enter prestigious colleges and universities in Europe and the West upon graduation.

This becomes available because, at the end of the school,

students are issued not only a regular certificate but also a European-style certificate, which is quoted in Europe.

That is why the doors to many European and American universities are open for Beacon House graduates.

At the same time, you should not have problems with admission, since the school provides a really good base, and also prepares students for possible entrance exams.

In addition, it is worth considering the fact that, leaving the walls of this institution,

students leave with knowledge of English and their chosen second European language (French, Spanish, Italian).
